However, it's important you choose a subject that you will enjoy and presents the best opportunities for you. Make note of key dates To ensure you don't miss out on applying to your top choice, ensure you make a note of application deadlines and other requirements. For the majority of courses the application deadline is on 15 January 2020. However, for some subjects such as medicine, veterinary medicine/ science and dentistry, or for some universities such as Oxford and Cambridge, applications are required in October 2019.
